Hancock Whitney Announces $1 Million-Plus in Grants from Local Foundations to SE TX Area Nonprofits

BEAUMONT, Texas (November 2, 2021)—Hancock Whitney recently honored 49 Southeast Texas non-profit organizations and presented grants totaling approximately $1.1 million on behalf of six prominent Beaumont area foundations at the annual “Harvest of Giving” awards ceremony.

Presented on behalf of the Helen G. Bell Charitable Trust, H.E. & Kate Dishman Charitable Foundation Trust, Eva Dujay Foundation–Mary Harold Medical Trust, H.H. & Edna Houseman Charitable Trust, Roy & M. Permenter Charitable Foundation, and B.A. & Elinor Steinhagen Benevolent Trust, the grants support organizations committed to enhancing arts, community services, education, health, and social welfare.

Each year Southeast Texas nonprofits are invited to participate in a unified grant application process for funds available from six private foundations. Hancock Whitney Trust and Asset Management serves as trustee of these foundations.
