1 Checking Promotion Requirements: Use the promo code referenced above when opening a new Access Checking account with money not currently on deposit at Hancock Whitney Bank by the offer expiration date of 3/31/2021. The promo code is required at account opening. The following criteria must be met by 05/31/2021: Set up and receive a qualifying monthly direct deposit of at least $250 per deposit. A qualifying direct deposit includes a salary, pension, social security or other recurring, monthly income amount of $250 or more, electronically deposited by your employer or outside agency. Transfers from one account to another or deposits made at a financial center or ATM do not qualify. A qualifying direct deposit is a recurring electronic deposit of at least $250 of your paycheck, pension, or government benefit (such as Social Security) electronically deposited your employer, the government, or outside agency. Additional Terms and Conditions: All account applications are subject to approval. $50 minimum opening deposit is required. Monthly service fee of $10 can be waived by the following: primary account holder under 24 or age 64 and over; or $250 minimum daily account balance; or a single, qualifying monthly direct deposit of $250 or more per deposit. 4 Items created by check, in-person withdrawals or other electronic means that overdraft (OD) an account or are drawn on nonsufficient funds (NSF) may be charged $36.00 per item. If you have opted into the payment of ATM and everyday debit card (POS) transactions into OD, we may assess OD or NSF fees on these items as well. We waive OD/NSF fees on the following: items $5 or less or end-of –day account balances overdrawn or that would have been overdrawn by $5 or less. We will also assess a $36.00 Sustained Overdraft fee each time your account remains overdrawn for at least nine (9) consecutive calendar days. This fee is separate from your OD/ NSF Fees already assessed. We waive this fee in certain circumstances. See our Truth in Savings Disclosure and Deposit Agreement for more information. We pay overdrafts at our discretion and do not guarantee that we will always authorize payment of any transaction. For example, we typically do not pay overdrafts if your account is not in good standing. If your account is overdrawn, you must immediately bring it to a positive balance to avoid additional fees.
