When our founders envisioned a bank built to last, they expected their successors to ensure our organization mirrored the makeup of our communities. We know that our future success relies on strong, forward-thinking teams with a breadth of backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.

Over the last several years, Hancock Whitney has zeroed in on strengthening its culture of inclusion and belonging and prioritizing our differences through a focus on

  • Recognizing and celebrating associates for their contributions to the company and communities we serve;
  • Nurturing partnerships which facilitate growth and quality of life in the diverse communities where we work and live;
  • Creating platforms for continuous, meaningful diversity educational experiences for all associates; and
  • Providing equitable opportunities for associates at all career stages to reach their full potential.

Our teams are taking these efforts even further, developing key partnerships with higher education partners to align curriculum and course design with the skills and competencies needed to prepare the next generation of our workforce.

Hancock Whitney’s progress was recently featured in Diversity in Recruitment, an advertising special section of The Advocate, highlighting the company’s corporate internship program, and partnerships with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) across the region we serve.
