Frequently asked questions
-
What does this announcement mean for me right now?
Right now, nothing changes. You can continue banking exactly as you do today. These FAQs cover the transition period following the legal merger of One Florida Bank with Hancock Whitney Bank prior to full integration with Hancock Whitney. As our systems and services are fully integrated, we'll update this page with the latest information and notify you of any changes that require your attention.
-
Can I still use my debit card and checks?
Yes. Your debit card and checks will continue to work as usual.
-
Will my account or routing number change?

-
Can I still use my One Florida Bank online banking and the mobile app?

-
Will my automatic payments and direct deposits continue?
Yes. All of your recurring transactions will continue without interruption. If any updates are ever needed, we’ll guide you through the process ahead of time.
-
Are my deposits still FDIC insured?
Yes. Your deposits remain FDIC insured, subject to applicable limits.
-
What happens to my FDIC insurance if I have accounts at both One Florida Bank and Hancock Whitney?
Following a bank merger, the FDIC generally provides a grace period during which deposits you hold separately at each bank continue to be insured as if they were at separate institutions. This gives you time to review your accounts and, if necessary, make changes before deposits are combined for FDIC insurance purposes.
After the applicable grace period ends, your deposits at Hancock Whitney Bank and the former One Florida Bank will generally be added together for FDIC insurance purposes if they are held in the same ownership category.
If you have significant deposit balances or questions about your specific coverage, we encourage you to contact us. We can help you understand how FDIC insurance applies to your accounts and offer additional resources to complement FDIC insurance.
-

-
Why am I seeing Hancock Whitney Bank notices and signs in my One Florida Bank office if nothing is changing today?
As One Florida Bank becomes part of Hancock Whitney Bank, you’ll begin to see our name, logo, and other branding appear on buildings, signs, printed materials, and digital channels. These visual updates do not change how you bank today. There is no action required from you, and we will communicate well in advance of any future changes that may affect your accounts or services.
-
Can I go to a Hancock Whitney financial center to do my banking?
Not just yet. Because our systems are still separate, Hancock Whitney financial centers currently are not set up to support One Florida Bank accounts—but we’ll keep you updated as that evolves.

No. Your current banking relationships remain the same.

Does this impact my Merchant Services account?
