In today’s call, the team begins with a review of the 1st quarter, noting its difficulties as a result of COVID-19 containment and social distancing efforts. They then discuss many of the dire economic forecasts for the 2nd quarter, with possible double digit unemployment in the near future.

After a brief touch on recent legislative moves, the team examines Europe’s present state regarding containment efforts of the novel coronavirus, and how this could translate to the condition of the United States. Finally, the team reviews the current stock and bond market, the latest activity from The Fed, and what the markets could look like for the remainder of the year.
