When the Pelicans hit the hardwood this season, banking a shot will take on even more meaning than adding points to the scoreboard. As the official bank of the New Orleans Pelicans, Hancock Whitney’s latest partnership with the home team combines on-the-court achievement with off-the-court community commitment.
To carry game day excitement from the court to the community, Hancock Whitney has selected eight local charities to benefit from the Pelicans’ success. Each charity will be featured as the “Bank Dem Shots” beneficiary for two games this season, for a total of 16 games featuring the promotion. For every banked shot the Pels make, Hancock Whitney will donate $150. At the end of the season, all eight charities will equally split the money earned for banked shots.
