The Small Business Administration’s National Small Business Week runs April 29 – May 5, and we’re joining the celebration by saluting the small businesses that have made the Gulf South a thriving and dynamic place to live and work.

Our small business roots run deep

It’s been said many times, but it bears repeating: small business is the engine that drives the American economy. More than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and they create about two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year.

At Hancock Whitney Bank, we know what it’s like to start, run, and grow a business. After all, we began as a small business, and we’ve been helping local businesses succeed for over 100 years. We understand that it takes hard work, perseverance, and dedication to turn a small start-up into a profitable company.

It also takes a financial partner who will work side-by-side with businesses to provide the guidance, advice, and solutions that will help them grow. Our bankers have consistently been recognized for the expertise, commitment to service, and integrity they bring to everything they do, and we’re gratified that business owners across the Gulf South put their trust in us.

We salute you and thank you for dreaming big, creating opportunity, and bringing prosperity to the communities we call home. It’s our privilege to serve you.
