FRANKLINTON, La. (October 19, 2021)—Hancock Whitney, one of America’s strongest, safest banks, officially welcomed the Youth Service Bureau (YSB) on Friday, October 15, 2021, to share office space in the bank’s downtown Franklinton financial center at 919 Washington Street. YSB offices are located in suite A at that address.
Cleveland Wester (front row, third from left), YSB president and CEO, joins other community leaders and local Hancock Whitney bankers to cut the ribbon on the new YSB office housed at Hancock Whitney’s downtown Franklinton, Louisiana, financial center.
Hancock Whitney leaders said the partnership with YSB helps the nonprofit better serve more area residents through advocacy, counseling, education, and intervention for at-risk youth and their families.
“As a longtime partner of the Youth Service Bureau, Hancock Whitney is honored to open our doors to help this important organization expand operations here in Washington Parish,” said David Boudreaux, Hancock Whitney senior vice president and YSB board member. “The work YSB is doing in both Washington and St. Tammany parishes is making a difference every day in our local communities.”
Hancock Whitney, YSB, and numerous local officials joined in cutting the ribbon to the new YSB offices at the Franklinton financial center, including Washington Parish President Ned Thomas, State Senator Beth Mizell, Washington Parish School Superintendent Frances Varnado, Franklinton Mayor Greg Route, and Alderwoman Patrice Crain.
“Over the last 40 years, our goal at the Youth Service Bureau has been to help local youth and their families reach their full potential,” said Cleveland Wester, YSB president and CEO. “With this fresh new space, we will be able to grow our reach into Franklinton and beyond to help children stay in school, strengthen families, and make our communities safer. Our partnership with Hancock Whitney has been instrumental in assisting Youth Service Bureau in this effort.”
