1 Checking Promotion Requirements: Use the promo code referenced above when opening a new Freestyle personal checking account with money not currently on deposit at Hancock Whitney Bank by the offer expiration date of 12/31/2023. The promo code is required at account opening. The following criteria must be met by 2/29/2024: Set up and receive qualifying direct deposits totaling at least $300 each month through the entire promotional period which includes up to when the bonus is paid. A qualifying direct deposit is a recurring electronic deposit, including a salary, pension, social security, other government benefit or other recurring, monthly income amount, made by your employer or outside agency. Transfers from one account to another do not qualify. Qualifying direct deposit does not include payments received from apps such as PayPal or Cash App, and other similar payment providers. Tax refunds and Stimulus Checks are not qualifying direct deposits. Deposits made at a financial center, via ATM, online transfer, mobile device, debit card/prepaid card number or the mail do not qualify. The Bank may change or discontinue the offer at any time and without notice. This offer is non-transferable and cannot be combined with other offers. Only the person to whom this offer is addressed is eligible for this offer. Limit of one consumer checking-related bonus per household every 2 calendar years. The email given at account opening must match the email address submitted to get the offer promo code.
If your account meets the criteria, and remains open and active, we will deposit the earned bonus into your new personal checking account within 6 weeks after the qualification period of 2/29/2024. Bonuses may be considered interest and may be reported on IRS Form 1099.

2 Early Pay grants access to eligible direct deposit payments (PPD ACH transactions $25,000 and under) made into a Hancock Whitney Checking or Savings account up to two days prior to the scheduled payment date. Certain payroll payments may not be eligible for Early Pay. Early Pay availability is based on the timing of the payor’s payment instructions and therefore, you may not always see your direct deposits arrive early. Hancock Whitney does not guarantee early availability of these direct deposits. Early Pay eligibility may vary between pay periods, and daily/transaction limits apply. Any direct deposit not posted early will be made available to you in accordance with the payment instructions. After we have made the deposit available to you and you have withdrawn funds, you remain responsible if any deposit to your account is returned, rejected or uncollected by Hancock Whitney. No action is needed to take advantage of Early Pay. Early Pay will be activated for all Hancock Whitney Checking and Savings accounts only.
3 All account applications are subject to approval. $25 minimum opening deposit is required. Monthly service fee of $10 can be waived by the following: primary account holder under 18 or age 64 and over or make one or more client-initiated debit or credit transactions per statement cycle to waive the service charge. No minimum daily balance or minimum direct deposit amount is required to waive the service charge. If your account is closed within the first 180 days after opening, a $20 service charge will be assessed and we reserve the right to deduct the bonus amount from your account’s closing balance.
