When we updated our smartphone app, we made this must-have feature even easier to find. Now you’ll find it clearly on your main menu. And we made it one of our Top Features, which means it’s easily accessible at the bottom of your screen as you’re using the app.
Snap, tap, go. Depositing checks via the Hancock Whitney app really is that easy. And you can do it in just a few seconds. Here’s what that looks like on your Hancock Whitney app.
We’ll notify you when your mobile deposit is successful.
For your security, sign the back of your check and write “For Deposit Only” along with your account number – before you deposit the check with the Hancock Whitney app. Once funds have been made available in your account, write "ELECTRONICALLY DEPOSITED on date" across the front of the check to avoid the risk of re-depositing. The date should be the month, day, and year you submitted the deposit. Store your check in a secure place for 30 days after your deposit, then destroy it.
Our updated app even makes it easy to view your recent deposits, so you have a current picture of your finances.
