Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
MFA verifies your identity when you’re logging in to Online Banking from a device or browser that we don’t recognize. Step one is your username and password. In step two, you’ll now have the option to enter a numerical code that you’ll receive via text, email, or phone call. Once you've entered this code, you'll set up a security question that will be an option for you to use on future challenges should you not want to enter another code.
Hancock Whitney uses industry standard encryption for activity to protect your information and your resources.
While we use a wide variety of fraud detection tools to monitor and safeguard your financial activity these tools are most effective when we have your assistance. We recommend you protect your login information carefully and monitor your account transactions regularly. If you notice any suspicious activity on your account please contact us via your account officer, visiting a branch, or call us at 1-800-448-8812.
When you contact Hancock Whitney regarding your account, we’ll ask that you verify your identity and may request additional information based on the nature of the call. As a reminder, if Hancock Whitney reaches out to you regarding your account, we will never ask for PIN or password information during the call.
