On December 10, our main downtown financial center currently at 228 St. Charles Avenue will open on the second floor of the 51-story tower at 701 Poydras Street. With that opening, the building currently known as One Shell Square will bear a new name—the Hancock Whitney Center.
Between December 2018 and February 2019, other departments and more than 500 local associates will move in phases, eventually occupying nine floors of unused prime office space in the city’s Central Business District. About 320 operations and technology associates who work in Hancock Whitney offices at the University of New Orleans will remain at their lakefront locations.
