Our main New Orleans offices will soon be on the move to one of the most prominent structures along the Crescent City skyline and Louisiana’s tallest office building.

701 Poydras_JMH (2018)_Resize2On December 10, our main downtown financial center currently at 228 St. Charles Avenue will open on the second floor of the 51-story tower at 701 Poydras Street. With that opening, the building currently known as One Shell Square will bear a new name—the Hancock Whitney Center.

Between December 2018 and February 2019, other departments and more than 500 local associates will move in phases, eventually occupying nine floors of unused prime office space in the city’s Central Business District. About 320 operations and technology associates who work in Hancock Whitney offices at the University of New Orleans will remain at their lakefront locations.

We’ve been in the heart of the CBD since we opened our doors in the late 1800s. During the past century, we’ve grown with and because of people and businesses trusting us to help them achieve their dreams. With our move to larger, more modern space just down the street, we’ll be able to continue growing in scalable space that better showcases the financial services, products, and expertise we offer clients.

As we relocate to the soon-to-be Hancock Whitney Center, we’re proud to announce this important investment in New Orleans and in our promise to deliver warm, 5-star service to the people and communities depending on us as their strong, solid financial services partner.
