Gulf South bank stands strong with affected people, communities
In the tragic wake of what authorities are calling a deliberate attack earlier today that, at press time, killed at least 15 and injured dozens more in New Orleans’ French Quarter, Gulf South-based bank Hancock Whitney issued a statement of solidarity and support for those affected by the acts of violence.
“What is traditionally a day filled with hope, optimism, and well-wishes for the new year was marred by tragedy and sadness. Our Hancock Whitney family joins with people throughout Greater New Orleans, our country, and the world in keeping those affected — especially those killed or injured and their families and loved ones — in our thoughts and prayers. We stand strong with and for them and our communities as the investigation continues into this senseless incident,” the company’s statement said.
