Hancock Whitney Promotes Chris Broussard to Sr. Regional Credit Officer

LAFAYETTE, La. (June 21, 2021)—Hancock Whitney—one of America’s strongest, safest financial institutions—has promoted well-known Lafayette banker Chris Broussard as Senior Regional Credit Officer for the bank’s Southwest Louisiana and Texas markets.

Acadiana native Broussard, a senior vice president, is based at Hancock Whitney’s River Ranch regional headquarters at 2301 Camellia Boulevard.

Broussard previously served for almost eight years as Director of Commercial Credit for MidSouth Bank, which merged with Hancock Whitney in 2019. His professional banking experience includes commercial banking, credit analysis, and credit risk management.

An alumnus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Broussard holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance and a Master of Business Administration degree in business administration and management from his alma mater.
