TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa Bay area trust and asset management professional Preasley Simkins has joined Hancock Whitney Wealth Management to lead the family office team. Simkins has nearly 20 years of experience working with high net worth families and their advisors providing trust and estate administration, family governance, and wealth management services.

A Florida native, Simkins moved to Alaska following high school and graduated cum laude from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a degree in political science. From there, she returned to Florida to earn her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg and later her master’s degree in taxation law from the University of Alabama School of Law.
Preasley has volunteered with Tampa Bay Watch and Southeastern Guide Dogs (now Dogs, Inc).
