• Providing small business loans to help drive economic growth and job creation across the Gulf South.

• Enhancing entrepreneurship by partnering with Louisiana Small Business Development Center to launch Small Business Matters a 16-week program designed to help small businesses by delivering insights and knowledge.

Community Development

We understand the importance of a strong community and we are committed to taking a proactive role in making loans and investments in affordable housing, community services, neighborhood revitalization and stabilization, and economic development across the communities of our footprint.

We support community development through:

Loans

• Our Community Development Loan program assists nonprofits and for-profit entities that provide housing opportunities for low- and moderate- income families through the development of single family or multifamily real estate.

Investments

• The Hancock Whitney New Markets Fund, LLC (HWNMF) targets loans and investments to improve low-income communities.

Advisory Council

• The Hancock Whitney Community Development Advisory Council brings together leaders who make a difference in housing, economic development small business development to provide strategic advice to Hancock Whitney management to better serve their communities.
